We've already lost the turf at Gulfstream and Laurel. The respective dirt conditions are good and sloppy.

Holding out hope that some of the northern tracks are still on the turf.

I have a party to go to later this afternoon so I better win early!!!

Welcome back, Niko. How was the European trip? Did you get to go to a track over there like you planned? How is European racing? Was the track busy? Nice like Saratoga? Or crappy.

Thanks, Mich. I was able to go for a day at St. Cloud just outside of Paris. Beautiful racecourse - left-handed racing. I hit a 13-1 winner in the 2nd race, but the rest of the day was chalky so I broke about even. The punters in attendance were friendly and the wife and I had a great time talking to people and drinking a little too much Champagne.
Overall a fantastic trip - I highly recommend Zermatt to anyone who hasn't been to the Alps.
Got home just in time for the hurricane. Luckily, it landed well east of us. Prayers for those in the path - this one was a monster.

Sounds like you had a great time, Niko. Fantastic. And good you got the nice winner before seeing the Racing Form through Champagne eyes! Do they use the Racing Form there?

And thank God you dodged the hurricane. Looks pretty bad from up here.

Woodbine is listed "good" for the turf. All other East coast RF tracks are off the turf. Damn.

None today. And I don't think I've seen any for this meet.
